Sixty is the golden age where you get to catch up on all that sleep you missed while you were 20, whether you want to or not!

So far sixty has been a real roller coaster ride! We’ve had a great summer spending time with our grandson and making a few more updates on the 1975 GMC Motorhome and planning a few trips. On the other hand – that kidney stone was not a welcome visitor!

The good news is after 30 days, the kidney stone finally made its grand exit. It was like that distant cousin that comes to visit for a weekend but doesn’t make an effort to leave until the cupboards are bare and your patience is long gone!

There is nothing like a visit to an emergency room to find things beyond what they were looking for. While we wait to find out more about tumors on both my adrenal glands, it was nice to have our local parade back after two years. It’s always so much fun to watch the drill teams, the pirates and my brother in law enjoying his jeep with his fellow veterans.
