Of course it will be a tiny tour – it’s a tiny space! The GMC really is our happy place. Even when it’s parked in the driveway and we have no trip planned, I like to go inside and fuss around or read a book. The colors make me happy and the small living really feels good to me.
On the other hand, what makes our space so large is the area in which we live, albeit temporarily. Our ‘side yard’ in LaConner, WA was gorgeous. Walking along the bay and listening to the tide come in and go out was what we needed to cleanse our minds and souls.
Messy! The dog doesn’t let dad out of sight!
The cab area definitely got messy as the week progressed. We did get rid of the ‘tv pillows’ that I was sure would be very comfortable if we wanted to sit up in bed to watch tv. Instead we moved them from cab to bed each day and the opposite each night, when we got home we donated them to our neighbor for their children to enjoy. A place to store our backpacks and drone case needs to be found.
Our ‘front yard’ gave us plenty of room to enjoy reading, flying the drone and a liquid picnic. While we were there the spa/hot tub opened for the first time since the beginning of the quarantine, we made a reservation and were one of the first to use the hot tub. You could only go in with your own ‘group’ so the two of us had it to ourselves near sunset. It was a lovely way to end one of our evenings.
Our ‘back yard’ was a place of discovery. One afternoon had a low tide so we went exploring. Again, we had the beach practically to ourselves which was so nice. We truly enjoyed Our New Neighborhood.
If the path be beautiful, let us not ask where it leads
