Seriously, we had over 80 days of cloudy days and the clouds are supposed to return this afternoon with rain reintroducing itself on Saturday and lasting – well until July with a few teases like these!
When I turned the corner from Beach Drive to Alki Avenue I thought I’d entered an altered universe – it looked like SoCal! I have to admit Cass Elliott’s voice started to sing to me, “Dream a little dream of me”.

It’s the last day of the mid-winter break so there were a few families enjoying the day. Thank goodness for my commitment to this 21 day challenge to take photos and write the blog post, otherwise this would have been the highlight of my day:
Back to reality while I put the groceries away, prep dinner for tonight and tomorrow, empty the now clean dishes out of the dishwasher and take the recycling out! Of course it would be a great day to tidy up the backyard but once I get the free Friday chores done maybe I’ll treat myself to a nap or dig back into Pinterest!
