What do you do on a beautiful sunny Seattle day? Well, you work on the RV! I know, I know we actually told ourselves we were taking the day off from the GMC Motorhome Eleganza 2. We got my scooter started for the first time this spring and I took it for a ride around the neighborhood. By the time I got back, the rubbing compound and all the goodies that go with it were out. While the interior of the rv may appear ‘cozy’, when you are cleaning up the outside, that thing is loooonnnnngggg!
I have to admit that for the first time in a while, I was thrilled with all our Estate and Garage sale visits over the years. The buffer, Malco Rapid Cut compound, Turtle Wax Hard Shell liquid wax and Luster Glaze that we picked up for pennies on the dollar came in handy. What a nice shine and the new pinstriping looks great. For a moment we thought about removing the Eleganza II decal, I’m so glad we kept it now that it’s so shiny and bright.
I had bought ONE new windshield wiper to be sure it fit before we bought the second one. It fits! Guess I will ‘splurge’ and buy the second one now. We will also be applying RainX that is rumored to be a great help to keeping the windows clean and clear.
We are looking forward to our first short trip soon – out of the driveway!
