Buying small and taking steps to live small – here is the before and after of our Instant Pot. I LOVE (all caps) my Instant Pot. I use it to saute and pressure cook, slow cook and make the easiest to peel hard boiled eggs*. The eight quart is officially too big for these empty nesters and I’m excited to start using our three quart pot now and in the future. Hmmmm…. who will ‘inherit’ the BIG pot?
*Hard boiled eggs – one cup of water at bottom of pot, put eggs on rack. Set to manual for 5 minutes. Auto release for 5 minutes and then manually release rest of steam. Put eggs in ice water to cool and then peel immediately. Perfection.
