The driver and passenger seats are listed on Craigslist and the GMC Motorhome Marketplace site. I have set a deadline in my mind on how long they will take up space in the basement until we donate them to Goodwill. There is a pending pick up on the dining and rear seating – another deadline, this one set in stone if they don’t show up. There are a few boxes of clutter ready to be donated in addition to a case of poker chips and a folding card/poker table that I’m saying ‘bye bye’ too also. It’s a continual work in progress to minimize and get rid of things we don’t use. The journey to our journey has a lot of paths, no particular fork in the road where we have to stop and decide which way to go, but paths that veer one way or the other then take us back to the main highway.
Anthony Bourdain
“The journey is part of the experience — an expression of the seriousness of one’s intent. One doesn’t take the A train to Mecca.”
Thor Heyerdahl
“Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough.”
Henry David Thoreau
“A simple man will have only what he needs, and he will know the difference between what he needs and what he wants. We feel that whatever we want, we desperately need. But before we possess the world, to our wide surprise we see that the world has already possessed us.”
